Couple shows their patriotism with new Jeep
Sheila and Harold Fink were in the market for a red, four-door 2011 Jeep Wrangler. When they received a call from sales representative Jarron Davis at Chapman Chrysler Jeep that a red Wrangler was just delivered to the dealership, they immediately drove to the Valley Automall location to check it out. Nothing could have prepared this patriotic couple for the red, white and blue Spirit of Liberty Jeep that awaited them.
"We drove to Chapman to look at the red Jeep Wrangler that Jarron told us about," Harold Fink said. "But it was love at first sight when my wife laid eyes on the Spirit of Liberty Jeep. I knew we wouldn't be leaving the dealership unless she was driving away in that car. It soon became our sixth purchase from the Chapman Chrysler Jeep dealership."
The 2011 Spirit of Liberty Jeep Wrangler is a replica of the Spirit of America Jeep from The Spirit of Liberty Crossing of America Tour. Wrapped in a flag motif designed by automobile artist Kiwi Terry, these Jeeps honor the men and women of our armed forces and their families.
The Spirit of Liberty Crossing of America Tour kicks off this Memorial Day weekend in San Diego and visits 43 states and Washington D.C. ending in New York City on the 10th Anniversary of Sept. 11.
"As the chosen dealerships by the Spirit of Liberty Foundation, we wanted to go the extra mile and create two replicas of the Spirit of Liberty Jeeps in order to further help our local veterans," said Gary Brewer, general manager of Chapman Chrysler Jeep. "These Jeeps are a symbol of America and another way for the Chapman Automotive Group to demonstrate our ongoing support of the members and families of the military."
Chapman donated $6,600 to the Spirit of Liberty Foundation to wrap two Jeep Wranglers to earn designation as the local stop on the nationwide tour. The Las Vegas tour stop of the Spirit of Liberty tour is scheduled for June 18.
