D.R. Horton launches Single Story Super Sale event in new communities

D.R. Horton's Las Vegas division will begin its "Single Story" sales event through the weekend of Aug. 16 to 17. Currently modeling more than 30 ranch-style floor plans, the sale will take place valley-wide across the builder's 24 Las Vegas neighborhoods.

"The magnitude of this event has grown tremendously since it was first proposed," said Jeff Ward, Las Vegas division director of marketing.

"President Bush recently signed a Housing Bill under which the Nehemiah seller assisted down-payment program will be ending soon. During this sale, our buyers may still be able to benefit from this tremendous program," Ward said.

The builder's single-stories range from 1,000 to over 5,000 square feet with prices beginning in the mid-$100,000's.

The most popular floor plan is the Plan 2350, according to Scott Harwood, sales manager. The design includes two master bedrooms that can be converted to a five-bedroom design for the growing family, Harwood said.

"Realtors throughout the Valley have equated D.R. Horton with great single-story floor plans for years," Harwood said. "Many builders offer one or two single-stories in a development, but at D.R. Horton in Las Vegas, we build select communities with exclusively single-story homes."

For a limited time, said Ward, the builder may be able to arrange for a qualified buyer's FHA down payment. "In some cases, that's up to $12,000," Ward said. "Our promotion wraps all these opportunities together, plus we are offering our lowest prices of the year on all single-story homes and are sweetening every deal with great financing packages for qualified buyers."

The builder has an inventory of more than 100 homes available for move-in within the next 60 days, Ward said. Models are open in more than 38 neighborhoods throughout the valley.
