D.R. Horton to host grand opening for Buffalo Ranch

D. R. Horton will introduce the builder's newest community to the Las Vegas Valley today with a grand opening event at Buffalo Ranch, located on Buffalo Drive between Tropicana Avenue and Peace Way.

Shoppers are invited to Buffalo Ranch to tour professionally designed model homes and take advantage of financial incentives.

"We believe with 13 home plans ranging from approximately 1,760 to over 4,000 square feet, combined with the unrivaled location of Buffalo Ranch, that we have something attractive to nearly every person in the market for a new-home," said Brian Frabbiele, marketing director for D. R. Horton Las Vegas.

"In most cases, clients interested in a new home experience must choose a location that is outside of the (Las Vegas) Beltway and a considerable distance from the airport and Las Vegas Strip. We purchased this land years ago, when prime southwest valley residential land was quickly vanishing. We knew we had a special location and community when we sold more than 20 homes before our grand opening," Frabbiele said.

The homes at Buffalo Ranch have been designed with modern and energy-efficient features, and include single-story homes, homes with three-car garages, homes with as many as six bedrooms, and homes that feature "single-story living," with a popular builder feature called the FROG.

D. R. Horton's Flex Room Over Garage option provides a home with all of the bedrooms and laundry room on the main floor while providing extra room upstairs for family or office space.

This optional living area may also be created for an additional master bedroom to accommodate a variety of lifestyles and living needs.

The grand opening event is set for today from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Guests can stroll through four model homes and encounter features, such as the built-in swimming pool at the 4,000-square-foot plan.

Attendees may also meet vendors including the interior design team and swimming pool contractor.

These professionals will be on hand to provide buyers information on products and services and answer questions about the spaces created at Buffalo Ranch.

The event will also provide an opportunity for shoppers to meet professionals that can provide details on how to design a floral arrangement for a house warming party or to meet an artist that can paint an original work of art to celebrate the new home.

Pet adoption and puppy display will be part of the event.

Loan professionals from DHI Mortgage will be on hand to provide free pre-qualification, and to discuss mortgage options.

The event will also have a lunch spot featuring the LBS Patty Wagon, a live radio remote featuring local celebrity Lark Williams, and a Bundt cake display and giveaway by Nothing Bundt Cakes.
