  A preview event for the Splendor in the Glass benefit for Southern Nevada Public Television is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 4) at Whole Foods Market at 100 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson. The preview event is free; Splendor in the Glass is scheduled for 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road. Tickets for that are $65 in advance and $80 at the door; advance tickets are available at Lee’s Discount Liquor, Whole Foods Market, Khoury’s Fine Wine & Spirits and at www.VegasPBS.org/winetasting. …

  Through Feb. 12, Le Cordon Bleu’s Cafe Bleu is selling four soup varieties — potato leek, puree of carrot, cream of mushroom and chunky potato — as part of the Souper Bowl of Caring fundraising campaign for local chapters of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
