Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant, 4930 W. Flamingo Road, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas will host a happy-hour celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 16) to benefit the organization and in honor of Mexican Independence Day. Wristbands, at $20, will include all-you-can-drink house margaritas and signature appetizers, with 50 percent of proceeds donated to the charity. Emeril Lagasse’s Las Vegas’s restaurants — Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House at MGM Grand, Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian and Table 10 at the Palazzo — will feature dishes created by students at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts high school Oct. 1-31. For each dish sold, the restaurants will donate $10 to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation for the construction of a teaching kitchen at the school.
