DINING: Locals are James Beard award finalists

  Three Las Vegas chefs have been named finalists for the Best Chef: Southwest category in the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards, and Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand is a finalist in three categories in the awards.
  Rick Moonen, executive chef of RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay; Saipin Chutima, chef/owner of Lotus of Siam; and Claude Le Tohic of Joel Robuchon are finalists in the regional best chef category.
 Additionally, Kamel Guechida of Joel Robuchon is a finalist for Outstanding Pastry Chef, and the restaurant is a finalist for the Outstanding Service award.
