Dining pick of the week: East Coast Eats

This East Coast is all about Boston with its New England seafood, regional roast beef sandwiches and Boston pizza with or without red sauce. Special seafood plates, served with fries, homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce, are available Wednesday through Sunday and include Ipswich clams, fish and chips, wild sea scallops and the New England Fisherman Platter with clams, scallops, haddock and shrimp. The three-way roast beef sandwich is made with sauce, mayo and cheese. Other sandwiches include hot meatball, chicken parmigiana, grilled pastrami, fried haddock, Cajun chicken and vegetarian. The Steak Bomb has onions, roasted green peppers, mushrooms and American cheese. There also are hamburgers, assorted salads with chicken, shrimp or roast beef, quesadillas and pizzas such as chicken fajita, Mediterranean, bacon cheeseburger and Spero's Finest made with pepperoni, garlic, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. Featured pasta dinners are mac and cheese, chicken broccoli with ziti, pasta Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. Several appetizers are potato skins, cheese Tater Tots and fried shrimp. Seafood dinners begin at $12.99 and sandwiches at $4.99. East Coast Eats is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
