Everyone should start the day with a healthy breakfast, and now it can be even healthier. The house granola has rolled oats, oat bran, flax seeds, pecans, walnuts, coconut, raisins, maple syrup, cinnamon and nutmeg. There are multigrain protein pancakes, scrambled tofu with tofu chorizo, and the Greek scramble with egg whites, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, basil and tomatoes. Or start the day with a special drink such as V9, Antioxidant Chiller or Wellness made with green grapes, green apple, pineapple, orange, lime, wheatgrass, kale, spinach, collard greens, ginger, flax seed and agave. Smoothie favorites are made with almond or soy milk and include Apple Pie, Tofu Banana Split and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake with kale, spinach, avocado and zucchini. After breakfast, which is served until 11 a.m., enjoy lunch featuring soups (Thai ginger, tortilla), salads, wraps and sandwiches, and pizza on pita, vegan lavash or thin-crust dough. Create your own meal by selecting a protein (salmon, filet mignon, ahi tuna, turkey breast), green (asparagus, avocado), grain (quinoa, cous cous, white cannellini beans) and sauce (Citrus BBQ, Lemon Vinaigrette).
