Lindo Michoacan
10082 W. Flamingo Road at Hualapai Way; 702-838-9990
Lindo Michoacan has such a complete Mexican menu, it’s difficult to decide what to order since everything (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, flautas, tostadas, tamales) is award-winning. Guacamole is prepared tableside with jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and fresh lime juice. House specialties include steak ranchero, caldo de res (beef soup), pollo Rebeca (grilled chicken with fresh Mexican cactus), mole poblano, Mexican Gulf shrimp, chile verde de marrano (lean pork in green salsa) and birria de chivo, where fresh goat meat is paired with dried chilies and spices and cooked in beer. All egg dishes (huevos rancheros, omelet a la Mexicana, huevos con chorizo or machaca) are served with rice and beans. Popular salads include Michoacan Cobb with grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, bleu cheese, avocado, tomato, chorizo and Javier’s ranch dressing. Mexican sandwiches are served with fries and feature roast pork, broiled steak, chile relleno and aguacate (sliced avocados). Vegetarians can enjoy enchiladas, burritos, fajitas and tacos. Michoacan-style menudo is served Saturday and Sunday. Lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Combination plates begin at $10.50. Lindo Michoacan is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to midnight Friday, 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday.
