Dining pick of the week: Scooter’s Pub

'Tis the season to find a favorite sports pub, and Scooter's fits the bill with its many flat-screen televisions, arcade games, darts, pool and shuffle board. It's also home to Seattle Seahawks fans. Featured appetizers are mini corn dogs, chicken Parmigiana sliders, potato skins and Scooter's Famous Nachos with Angus beef chili or chicken, shredded cheese, jalapenos, black olives, tomatoes, scallions, sour cream and salsa. Among the salads are chicken and avocado, Caesar (add chicken, steak or shrimp) and flat iron steak. There are brick-oven pizzas and chargrilled Angus beef hamburgers served with fries, curly fries, colesalw or potato salad. Other sandwiches are foot-long Kobe hot dogs, French dip, Reuben, roasted turkey club, Philly steak, grilled ham and cheese, and chicken and avocado with Jack cheese, bacon, red onion, tomato and sprouts on a toasted bun. Several dinner entrees are homemade mac and cheese, 12-ounce rib-eye marinated in Cajun seasoning, fish and chips, and Cajun penne with green and red peppers, Andouille sausage, chicken and shrimp. Popular breakfasts include chicken fried steak and eggs, breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy, and cinnamon apple French toast. Finally, enjoy the apple cobbler.
