What wow means at this restaurant is friendly, intimate and clean. Chef's special rolls include 007, Mexican, Yum Yum, Crunch Rainbow, Bonsai, Forever 21, Kiss Me Darling, Adios Amigo, Caterpillar, Grand Canyon, Mel's (California roll with avocado), Sex on the Beach (spicy scallop with cucumber inside, salmon on top) and Wow Wow Wow, spicy soft-shell crab inside spicy tuna and salmon with avocado. The nigiri menu has kaki (oyster), squid, crab, shrimp, halibut, fatty tuna, flying fish egg, tako (octopus), red snapper and eel. Featured salads are cucumber, crispy tofu, salmon and asparagus, sashimi and edamame. There are teriyaki bowls (chicken, beef), fried rice, soups, tempura and noodle dishes such as sukiyaki and udon. Among the dinner bentos, served with soup, salad, rice and mixed tempura, are Korean barbecue, salmon teriyaki, spicy chicken, saba shiyoyaki (grilled mackerel) and chicken katsu, deep-fried, panko-crusted chicken breast. Lunch specials are served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and feature lunch plates and assorted roll combinations. Special rolls begin at $6.95 and dinner bentos at $10.95. Sushi Wow is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. -- Jack Bulavsky
