Division honors Findlay Cadillac sales consultants
Five members of the Findlay Cadillac team received Cadillac Crest Club honors presented by Cadillac Motor Division for helping lead the dealership to one of the company’s most prestigious honors.
Sales consultants Jason Clouse, Michael Waldman, Deb Topham, Cliff Smith and Chris Martinez were honored; collectively, the group represents about 28 years with Findlay Automotive Group.
“It’s an honor to get an award that says you’re one of the top 20 salespeople in the Western Region,” said Clouse, a Southern California native who has been with dealership for eight years. “In order to receive this, you must focus on volume customer satisfaction and attention to people and details. In the car business, there are constant challenges and a sales consultant must meet every one of them.”
Clouse said he and his co-workers represent 25 percent of the top 20 sales consultants out of more than 1,000 eligible for the honor.
“To have the same sales consultants win the honor two years in a row shows dedication to teamwork and dedication to presenting the Cadillac brand at its highest level,” Clouse said.
Topham, who has been in the car business for 12 years, agreed that the honor was significant.
“It’s awesome,” said the native of Wichita, Kan. “To accomplish this for two consecutive years is a huge testament not only to the brand but the dealership, too.”
John Saksa, dealership general manager, praised the group, which was instrumental in the dealership being named Dealer of the Year.
“The car business can be very difficult, and our results, combined with the stability of those involved, are true examples of why we are where we are now,” said Saksa, who has been in the car business for 30 years.
The group will be officially presented awards later this year.
“We’re in a tough business and to be able to achieve this award is unprecedented. We could not be more proud of the five people who accomplished this,” said Tim Gleason, the dealership’s general sales manager.
