Driver hits, kills 16-year-old, then posts body on Twitter

A Florida mother is looking for answers after a photo of her 16-year-old son's body went viral shortly after he was crashed into and killed while crossing a street.
"Who does that?" Connie Cole asked Jacksonville-affiliate WTLV. "You have to be some type of monster."
Cole said the 19-year-old driver should be charged with a crime, and should have been tested for drugs or alcohol after killing her son, Trevius Williams. But the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office told the television station there was no sign the driver was impaired on Sunday, and that he cooperated with officers at the scene.
Cole said her son was out to get a loaf of bread. He was taken to a Jacksonville hospital and pronounced dead. But later, Cole's niece found pictures of Williams' body Twitter by someone who added the comment, "I jus killed a man," and "RIP."
The same person had posted on Twitter before the accident a reference to drinking "lean," slang for a cocktail of cough syrup and soda, the television station reported. Both posts have since been deleted.
Police are aware of the posts, and confirmed they came from the driver. A spokeswoman said that the case is still under investigation.
"I'm angry because detectives told me that there was no alcohol or drugs involved," said Cole, who has two other children. "Well, how would you know if it wasn't tested?"
