Dunhill welcomes summer

Summer arrives this weekend at Dunhill Homes, when the Fun Zone Water Park opens for the season at Rhodes Ranch.

"The Fun Zone Water Park alone is a huge benefit to residents of Rhodes Ranch," said Taylor Smith, sales agent.

"People often ask if they can purchase season passes to the park, but it is only available to Rhodes Ranch residents and their guests."

According to Smith, Fun Zone is one of the largest water parks in Las Vegas and includes a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas, a 10,000-square-foot water park with three speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges, multiple squirt gun stations and a 1,000-gallon bucket that fills and tips over every five minutes.

"Rhodes Ranch residents have their choice of outdoor amenities including a 25-meter lap pool, two eight-person spas, a 12-person group spa, four large covered cabanas, one exterior lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts and a children's playground with activity structures," Smith said.

Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany Village, the builder's two Nevada master-planned communities, include 35,000-square-foot recreation centers exclusively for residents.

At Rhodes Ranch, the R-Club recreation center includes a great room that features multiple seating areas, a baby grand piano and television viewing area. The R-Club hosts regular card games, fitness classes, a billiards room with pool and pingpong tables.

The R-Club also includes an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full-length basketball court and two racquetball/handball courts. Residents can participate in a variety of group classes including Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, total body conditioning and circuit training in its group exercise room.

Like Rhodes Ranch, Tuscany Village is home to a golf course, miles of walking trails and a guard-gated entrance with 24-hour security patrol. La Vita Tuscana recreation center offers a 221,000-gallon pool with a wading area for toddlers, two spas and five waterfalls. Group lessons in kick boxing, dance and Pilates are offered and the fitness center includes two racquetball courts and a full-size basketball gymnasium. Outside, there is a regulation lap pool, basketball court and tennis courts.

To visit Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive and go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 7740-4111.
