Eagle flies from top of world’s tallest building — VIDEO

An eagle named Darshan set a world record flying from the top of the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa tower, to his owner half a mile below on the ground.

A small camera was attached to the bird’s back to record the flight.

Darshan’s owner, a falconer from France, said the eagle was born in captivity and had never flown that high, according to BBC.

The organizers, Freedom Conservation, staged the event to highlight the plight of the endangered bird.
