Eggnog chugging lands man in hospital for 3 days
A Utah man found himself in the hospital earlier this month after chugging non-alcoholic eggnog at an office Christmas party.
Ryan Roche drank a quart in 12 seconds during an eggnog-chugging contest and couldn’t really breathe afterward, but thought he’d be OK. A couple hours after he went home, though, he found himself shaking uncontrollably and ended up going to the hospital, according to KSL.
Roche had aspirated eggnog to his lungs and spent three days in the hospital because of it, including 24 hours in intensive care.
