ENTERTAINMENT: “Triumph” closes at Hilton

The magic show "Triumph" closed at the Las Vegas Hilton on Tuesday, but Larry Fischer — half of the performing duo Larry and Rafael — said he is in talks to move the show to a venue with less overhead.
"The Hilton was wonderful" and "treated us very well," Fischer said Thursday. "But it was a very costly venue" and "our ticket sales were very light."
The show opened in December on an erratic schedule, working around previously booked concert attractions at the Hilton. It never had a formal opening night because the performers were waiting to install a new climactic illusion.
"We're not going away," Fischer said. "Failure is not an option."
