Friendly Ford plans to hold Raptor Roundup road event

Ford is offering an opportunity for F-150 Raptor owners and other off-road enthusiasts. The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Roundup event will be held 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Vegas Off Road Experience course, 12801 U.S. Highway 95 South, Boulder City.

This exclusive Ford Raptor Ride and Drive promotion will show what these trucks can do on a true off-road course. Owners also can drive their own Raptors on a short course.

"This is an opportunity from Ford that does not come around very often," said Jason Davis, general manager of Friendly Ford, which is accepting registrations for the event. "Truck enthusiasts get to drive the new F-150 SVT Raptor on a controlled off-road course. That's pretty cool."

Participants can get driver coaching from actual race drivers, get technical walk-arounds of the new F-150 SVT Raptor and discuss Ford's most-sought-after trucks with company representatives.

There also will be refreshments, entertainment and giveaways.

The event is open to the public.
