Harmony Homes cuts prices in the northwest

Harmony Homes is offering special pricing next week at its Harmony Homes' Harmony Heights neighborhood in northwestern Las Vegas. The subdivision is located just outside Providence, a master-planned community.

"Harmony Heights is as close as you can be to Providence without being inside it," said Lorne Wilson, sales manager for Harmony Homes. "There are brand new parks within walking distance and brand new shopping centers are all around. And with no LIDs (low impact development) or SIDs (special improvement district), homeowners' association fees are just $37 per month."

Sale prices in this gated collection start at $179,000.

"That is more than $10,000 off our regular pricing at Harmony Heights," Wilson said. "Our largest home is just $213,000 and only $95 per square foot. We are offering the special through March 15 on 12 home sites."

Some of the sites included in the special have 20- to 25-foot rear yards, large enough for a pool, spa or children's playground, according to Wilson.

The homes are near Mt. Charleston, Floyd Lamb State Park, Silverstone Golf Club and Centennial Hills Hospital.

Harmony Heights offers three two-story floor plans. Plan A is a 1,616-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 21/2 baths, living room, dining room, upstairs laundry room and upstairs loft or optional fourth bedroom.

Plan B is an 1,830-square-foot residence with three bedrooms, three baths, great room, loft, upstairs laundry room and sunroom, or optional fourth bedroom.

"The sunroom is on the first floor and next to a full bath," Wilson said. "Many homebuyers are interested in having a bedroom and bath downstairs for guests or an office, so this gives them more options to configure their home."

Plan C is a 2,246-square-foot home with four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, living room, family room, dining room and loft or optional fifth bedroom.

"All of the homes at Harmony Heights have walk-in closets, but in this home the master closet is nearly as large as a bedroom," Wilson said. "For those who want more closet space, this home is worth a look."

All homes in the collection include a two-car garage and three elevations, or exterior stylings, per plan. Plan A and Plan C are offered with optional kitchen islands.

Standard features include granite countertops in the kitchen and cultured marble in the baths, finished garages, ceiling fans prewiring and cable outlets in all bedrooms and family rooms/dens, rear-yard barbecue stubs.

The builder is selling homes in four neighborhoods including Harmony Pointe, Harmony Springs, Harmony Heights and Harmony Sands. Prices at Harmony Homes' prices start in the $150,000s and sizes range from 1,286 to 3,115 square feet. There are no LIDs or SIDs in any of the neighborhoods, according to Wilson.

All Harmony Homes are Energy Star certified and include low-e windows, programmable thermostats, 13 SEER air conditioners, energy-efficient gas heating systems and water heaters as well as gas dryer hookups.

Model homes are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday. The sales office is located at 7651 Anatolian St. near the intersection of Hualapai Way and Farm Road. To visit, take Interstate 215, Las Vegas Beltway, on the north side of town and exit Hualapai Way. Head north on Hualapai and pass Farm Road to the neighborhood on the left.
