Harmony Homes sales among its best since ’08

Executives with Harmony Homes, Nevada’s largest locally owned and operated homebuilder, recently said the company is celebrating one of its most successful sales years since the company was founded in Southern Nevada in 2008.

So far this year, Harmony Homes has sold more than 370 homes.

“For the past couple of years, the local housing market has been making a comeback, with home prices increasing since February 2012. Over the past year or so, we’ve really seen the market stabilize, which is a great thing for buyers,” Harmony Homes President Robert Beville said.

“Our buyers are telling us they love our amazing floor plans and dedication to building really high-quality homes. They also love the areas where our communities are located.”

Harmony Homes has 11 communities for sale in Southern Nevada, and they are selling quickly.

“We have a handful of homes that will be ready for move-in by the end of December and early to mid-January, and we encourage prospective buyers to get in touch with our sales agents for more information,” Beville said. “We know there are definitely buyers out there who are looking to move by the end of the year, and they will want to learn more about those homes at Silhouette, Lake Las Vegas, Serenada at Mountain’s Edge and Delhi Estates, which will be ready for move-in around the new year.”

Several communities have sold out ahead of schedule and several are close to sellout, including Serenada, and Delhi Estates, which is in North Las Vegas, and Bella Fiore.

Silhouette, in southwestern Las Vegas, is more than 25 percent sold; Daybreak, in the Sunrise Mountain area, is 33 percent sold.

“Our prices are great, and in fact they are some of the best in Southern Nevada, and we offer great quality, including standard paver driveways and granite in all of our homes,” Beville said.

“In fact, we have some of the very lowest prices you can find at Lake Las Vegas, even when comparing to used homes. At Daybreak at Sunrise Mountain, we actually have prices starting under $189,990.”

All homes built by Harmony Homes are part of the builder’s five-star energy certification, which includes energy-efficient features like radiant barriers to help reduce heat transfer through the roof and attic; low-e windows that help reflect heat away from the glass; vinyl window frames for superior insulation; and 13 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) heating, ventilation and cooling systems that hold the government-recommended 13 rating and use less energy per unit.

Homes also feature sealed ducts and upgraded insulation to help reduce energy consumption.

Harmony Homes has sold more than 1,300 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008.

The builder offers 11 neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $150,000s and ranging from 1,479 to 4,671 square feet.
