Harmony offers homes to close by June 30

Homebuyers have until April 30 to purchase and until June 30 to close on their first home to receive up to an $8,000 tax credit. The average time for Harmony Homes to complete construction from contract to close of escrow on a home is 60 days. Qualifying homebuyers can buy a Harmony Home in March and, if qualified, take advantage of the tax credit. There are 10 Harmony Homes neighborhoods across the Las Vegas Valley with prices starting in the low $100,000s.

"The time to buy a home is right now," said Geoff Gorman, Harmony Homes' vice president of sales. "Mortgage interest rates are low and our home prices are low. That alone is reason enough to seriously consider purchasing a Harmony Home today.

"But the expiring tax credit gives buyers the fantastic opportunity to actually put themselves in a financially stronger position immediately by purchasing a home today," Gorman said.

Three new neighborhoods have celebrated their grand openings in the northern and eastern part of the valley.

In North Las Vegas, two-story homes in Laguna and Capistrano at Vista Cielo start in the low $100,000s and offer seven floor plans ranging from 1,462 to 1,985 square feet. Plans include up to four bedrooms and provide optional dens and lofts. At Capistrano, the largest residence offers an optional bonus room.

The two-story neighborhood of Las Rosas in eastern Las Vegas provides two floor plans that range from 1,504 to 1,575 square feet with optional room choices. The community features 45 home sites including three homes that are ready for immediate move-in.

Harmony Homes come with standard features including granite kitchen countertops, upgraded baseboards, paver driveway and structured wiring packages included within the base price.

Harmony Homes is selling homes in 10 neighborhoods including Harmony Pointe, Harmony Springs, Harmony Heights, Harmony Sands, Alpian Meadows, Rivendell, Laguna at Vista Cielo, Capistrano at Vista Cielo, Las Rosas and Ladera Terrace.

Floor plans range in size from 1,462 to 4,035 square feet.

Model homes are open Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday and from noon to 5 p.m. Monday.
