Harry gets more doggerel for his poetry fest defense

First the prolific Bard of Murdoch penned a piece of poesy in honor of Sen. Harry Reid's defense of federal funding for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko.
The Bard wrote:
To the Senate's sole protector of the noble rhyming set,
The patron of our poems, the bard's own baronet:
In hand I take my laptop, to pen a piffling plea
For your assistance, Harry, in making my Art free.
Now the folksy folks at Citizens Against Government Waste have given Reid their March “Porker of the Month” Award for his support of the poetry fest.
In the spirit of the thing, they wrote:
Midway upon the journey of his life,
Reid found himself in Washington, D.C.
Once there he gathered money from us all,
Convinced the world would call it charity.
Cartoonist Michael Ramirez was a little more earthy.
