Huge lightning strike caught on officer’s dashcam — VIDEO

Imagine just driving along in your car when suddenly a huge lightning bolt strikes the side of the road right in front of you. What would you do?

I would probably scream and cry, all while swerving the car to avoid the blast. But that’s just me.

Thankfully Officer Mark Rodriguez, didn’t react the same way.

In a 10-second Youtube video posted by the Gautier Police Department Officer Rodriguez is driving down a Mississippi road through stormy weather in his police cruiser.

Suddenly, lightning strikes the side of the road in front of his car, creating a blinding, bright light. The force of the lightning was enough to damage the concrete on the road.

However, Rodriguez’s cruiser doesn’t seem to slow down or even move out of the way. He just keeps going calmly on his way.

Yup. Definitely not how I would have reacted.
