If you don’t agree with me, you are a racist

For one very long evening, the Oscars is the center of the planet for liberal sensibilities.
So, it was fun to see this year’s host, Ellen Degeneres tell a joke on her own Hollywood liberal smug crowd. It went like this:
The Oscars can only end two ways:
“Possibility No. 1: ‘12 Years A Slave’ wins. Possibility No. 2: You’re all racists.”
It took a moment, but the crowd finally got it and gave the painfully true joke it’s due.
For conservatives, however, this is the kind of thing that is never a joke. Liberals have been accusing conservatives of being racists for all kinds of policy disagreements with President Barack Obama.
The rollout of ObamaCare is a disaster. You don’t have to be a racist to acknowledge that.
Obama’s weak foreign policy encourages our enemies (i.e. Putin and the Ukraine). You don’t have to be a racist to acknowledge that.
For a moment, the Oscars crowd felt the sting of idiotic arguments that have been used against conservatives for years. It was fun — if only briefly — to watch it happen the other way.
And, of course, if you don’t agree with me … you are a racist.
