King to appear on Osgood Sunday program

Talk about a couple of nice guys getting together for a chat. Harrah’s Las Vegas comic/magician Mac King is scheduled to appear on “Sunday Morning With Charles Osgood."

King is approaching his 10th anniversary at Harrah's. By my unofficial count, the amazing Osgood has been on television since shortly after the Civil War. I seem to recall enjoying Osgood's one-on-one with Abraham Lincoln. Got Honest Abe to smile.

All right. Maybe I made that last part up. Osgood was actually born in 1933. I am certain he was born with that well-deep baritone voice.

He's presented "The Osgood File" as a daily feature on the CBS Radio Network since 1971. I have enjoyed every one.
