Land Rover Las Vegas puts Range Rover in spotlight

Land Rover Las Vegas hosted a launch party for the all-new 2013 Range Rover at Red Rock Country Club earlier this month.

The evening festivities included live music, art, wine tasting and, of course, the opportunity to see the new vehicle. The Range Rover was part of a indoor lights show that featured eight Land Rovers of various vintages.

The 2013 model was a white Autobiography Edition that featured virtually every option and package available including 22-inch wheels and a Executive Seating package that gives the rear passengers the feel of a pair of first-class airplane seats complete with a massage.

The new vehicle's chassis is more than 700 pounds lighter than the outgoing model, yet 33 percent stronger, giving it quicker acceleration, shorter braking distance and lower emissions, said a dealership representative.
