Land Rover Las Vegas to host food trucks

Land Rover Las Vegas will present Gourmet Food Truck Friday this evening at its location, 5255 W. Sahara Ave. The event is scheduled from 6-10 p.m.

Trucks expected to participate include Just Rollin', Sno Ono Shaved Ice, Sauced, Sheff's Kitchen, Lickety Splits and Joe2Go.

Beer and wine will be sold, with 10 percent of sales benefitting the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Additionally, Haute Chix will bring its unique fashions, musician Glenn Nowak will perform and local artist Larry Wade Hampton will painting a picture that will be raffled for the Lili Claire Foundation.

Those interested also will have the opportunity to have one of the dealership's sales staff take them on the off-road rock course on site.
