Lennar introduces new neighborhood

Lennar will introduce its newest neighborhood, Mandolin at Mountain's Edge, in southwestern Las Vegas this weekend with prices beginning from the low $100,000s.

The collection of two-story, single-family homes is presented in four distinctive floor plan styles ranging from 1,277 to 1,657 square feet. The plans include up to four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, direct-access one- and two-car garage and private front and rear yards.

The homes showcase architectural themes, accented with shutters, front porch entries and covered patios.

Mountain's Edge is planning a network of schools, offices, restaurants and retail shops.

The community features more than 500 acres of land devoted to open spaces, parks and trail systems. These will offer avenues for sport, fitness and recreation while protecting the natural desert environment. The landscaping is native desert plant sand shrubs. Other amenities include a community pool, cabana and Exploration Park.

To visit Mandolin from Blue Diamond Road, travel south on Buffalo Drive to Cactus Avenue and turn left. The sales office and model homes are located on the right hand side. Community hours this weekend are today and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
