Lennar to celebrate 55th anniversary with event

Lennar, one of the nation's largest home builders, is continuing to celebrate its 55th anniversary with the Extreme Savings Sales Event that kicks off today.

Jeff Galindo, Lennar Las Vegas vice president of sales, said the sales event will include savings of up to 30 percent and "extremely low, fixed financing for 30 years" on select inventory homes in celebration of the company's anniversary.

"We feel honored that we have been able to serve the needs of homebuyers throughout the country for so many years and will continue to do so for years to come," Galindo said. "These prices are historically low. Combined with low, fixed financing, now is an exceptional time to buy a new Lennar home."

Today, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m., Lennar Las Vegas will host its Extreme Savings Sales Event celebration at several of its new-home neighborhoods throughout the valley.

In addition, Lennar is offering 72 finished homes available for quick sales. Signage will be placed at each location making them easy for visitors to identify during the event.

Lennar has recently introduced its Peace of Mind Mortgage Payment Protection Program at selected new-home neighborhoods nationwide. The program provides assistance to those who experience financial difficulty due to job loss. Qualified homeowners that are enrolled in the Peace of Mind Mortgage Protection Program benefit from up to $1,800 per month for up to six months of the homeowner's mortgage payments.
