Lennar to open neighborhoods

Lennar's Everything's Included -- E.I. for short -- provides homebuyers with a two-page list of designer features and upgrades that are included in the cost of the home.

Features may include 42-inch, raised-panel, maple cabinetry, granite countertops, 9-foot ceilings, dual-flush toilets, interior cable, Internet and surround-sound prewiring.

"Not only does Lennar include the latest in technology and designer features, but also all those little things that make a house a home," said Virginia Ferrar, Lennar's new-home consultant at The Willows community.

Home shoppers can take this list called the Simply Compare sheet and price out the option costs at other builder's communities, item by item, feature by feature.

"And the best part is that the value of this program is so easy for homebuyers to understand," Ferrar said.

Typically when you visit a model home, interior designers have decorated the models with thousands of dollars worth of upgrades.

This makes it hard to see what is an upgrade and what actually comes as standard. However, Ferrar said, "What you see is what you get" at Lennar's decorated model homes.

"Our homebuyers love that they won't need to imagine what their homes will look like. Because the designer selected upgrades they see in the models are exactly what they will get in their own home," she said.

Two communities are now offering Lennar's Everything's Included program.

Priced from the $100,000s, the Willows and Summit Ridge in Henderson will celebrate their grand opening events March 19 and 20.

Ferrar said during the events, the company will offer special pricing, 3 percent closing costs and the Everything's Included features and upgrades.

Homeshoppers can get a Simply Compare features sheet at any of the homebuilder's 14 Welcome Home Centers across the valley. The company encourages homeshoppers to compare the value of its upgraded features to that of other valley homebuilders, according to Ferrar.
