Manny Pacquiao to pay Reid a DC visit?

Championship boxer Manny Pacquiao campaigned in Nevada last fall for Sen. Harry Reid. Now we may see Reid returning the favor by hosting Pacquiao in the U.S. Senate.
Pacquiao is scheduled to be in Washington next month on a promotional stop for his May 7 fight in Las Vegas against Shane Mosley.
Fight promoter Bob Arum told the Manila Bulletin he is trying to arrange a meeting between President Barack Obama and Pacquiao, who is a congressman in his native Philippines.
If the Pacquiao-Obama meet-and-greet takes place, "it's going to be absolutely huge," Arum said.
In any case, Arum, who is based in Las Vegas and who is a Reid friend, told the newspaper Pacquiao will visit the U.S. Senate when he is in town.
There was no immediate word from Reid's office as to whether a Pacquiao Senate stop-by is in the works.
