Melani at Tuscany Residential Village offers golf-course living

Rhodes Homes' Melani neighborhood, located in Tuscany Residential Village, features home sites located on the first and ninth holes of the Tuscany Golf Club.

"Home sites in Melani are 6,000 square feet or larger and many are available with views of the golf course," sales agent DeAnna Forsyth said. "These spacious sites combined with a starting price of $109 per square foot make this neighborhood one of the best values in Tuscany."

Forsyth said she believes Melani will be one of the quickest-selling neighborhoods in the master plan.

"It is centrally located within walking distance to the recreation center, walking trails and golf course," she said.

Melani is in its first phase of development, which traditionally offers lower pricing than later phases. The neighborhood features 2,663 to 4,876 square foot homes with two- and three-car garages. Prices start in the mid-$400,000s.

"Three-car garages have become very important to new home buyers in the past few years," Forsyth said. "They allow residents a little extra space to store their holiday decorations, sporting equipment and recreational equipment without needing to have an off-site storage unit."

The neighborhood offers one- and two-story floor plans with three to five bedrooms and 21/2 to four baths. According to Forsyth, Melani's kitchens have proven popular among home buyers.

"The kitchens are especially spacious and are all open to a living room or great room," she said. "They all have large gourmet islands and lots of cabinet space.

"Residents receive access to Tuscany's recreation center, playgrounds, walking paths and common areas in addition to receiving 50 channels of cable television." Forsyth said.

Tuscany Residential Village is a master-planned community developed by longtime Las Vegas developer Rhodes Homes.

The centerpiece of the community is the 6,906-yard, par-72 Tuscany Golf Club, designed by Ted Robinson Jr.

Tuscany's 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana, includes a lap pool, lagoon pool, hot tubs, a full work-out facility, an aerobics room, indoor and outdoor basketball, racquetball, tennis, arts and crafts rooms, billiards, conference rooms, social areas, park areas and jungle gyms for children.
