Monterey condominiums pair luxury with security

The 24-hour on-site security at Monterey at the Las Vegas Country Club condominiums has been an important aspect to buyers within the development's one- and two-story residences, located along the fairways and mature landscaping of the counntry club development, according to Nancy Green, sales agent.

"Not only do residents love the look and the feel of Monterey, they experience a sense of protection in knowing it is located within a guard-gated community," Green said. "The 24-7 on-site security is a huge benefit to all of our buyers."

Green said the guard-gated entrances as well as roving security particularly impressbuyers who are in search of a second home conveniently located near the Las Vegas Strip.

"Feeling secure is important to all residents, especially to second home buyers," Green said. "Whether they are coming and going to enjoy the sights of Las Vegas during a visit, or traveling out of the area, residents don't want to worry about the safety of their homes. They want to feel secure and comfortable. They like the 'lock and leave' existence of Monterey and the Las Vegas Country Club."

After passing through the secured entrances, residents notice the country club's design, surrounded by a golf course. The development is highlighted by miles of passageways providing residents opportunities for leisurely walks and jogging. Picnic areas complete with gas barbecues are situated among the community's mature park-like setting. Views of nearby Strip hotels, golf course fairways and water features are prevalent.

"Nestled in this gorgeous setting is Monterey, where 27 different floor-plan variations are available to meet each home buyer's diverse needs," Green said.

Studio, one- and two-bedroom single-level homes as well as two-story town homes are available and measure from 624 to 1,600 square feet. Prices start from the mid-$100,000s.

Architectural highlights may include a private patio or balcony, an oversized walk-in closet, formal entry way, built-in bookshelves or floor-to-ceiling fireplaces. Some condominiums are available for immediate move-ins.

Green said a furniture package program is a very popular design option among buyers. The condominiums featured in this program are appointed with custom furniture pieces, coordinating artwork and designer accents throughout and is included in the purchase price. Additionally, all residents of Monterey enjoy five private swimming pools with hot tubs and sun decks within walking distance from their homes. Residents have access to an on-site private fitness center with state-of-the-art apparatus.

"In addition to a sense of safety, Monterey truly has a 'warm neighborhood feel.' Our buyers don't believe they are living within the hustle bustle of the Las Vegas Strip," Green said.

To visit from the Las Vegas Strip, take Sahara Avenue east. Turn right on Paradise Road and go left on Karen Avenue.
