MORNING LINE: $3,000 free — not

Now that’s embarrassing. As the Los Angeles Times reports, a cheap room and free cash play come-on offered by Bally/Paris looks like more like a bait-and-switch than a simple typo. The headline of Catharine Hamm’s story is “$3,000 Las Vegas promotion turns out to be a dud.”

   Was the offer for  $3,000, or just $300?
