Mountain’s Edge adds new builders
Harmony Homes and Richmond American Homes are the two newest builders in the 3,500-acre master-planned community of Mountain's Edge. A new product by KB Home is also offered in Mountain's Edge.
"The homebuilders throughout Mountain's Edge offer homebuyers outstanding quality and value and we are thrilled we are adding new model homes and floor plan options to the master plan," said Deonna Stocker, manager of information center operations at the community's Home Search Café. "These communities are now open to the public, giving homebuyers even more options to live in the nation's fastest selling master-planned community."
Richmond American Homes recently opened its Tuscany Canyon and Tuscany Hills neighborhoods in Mountain's Edge.
Tuscany Canyon features four floor plans, with two built-out model homes to tour, ranging from 1,850 to 2,400 square feet with prices starting in the low $200,000s.
Tuscany Hills offers four floor plans, with two model homes open to the public. Square footage range from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet with prices starting from the upper $100,000s.
Harmony Homes is opening model homes in its Alpian Meadows and Rivendell neighborhoods. Alpian Meadows includes four floor plans for its Energy Star-certified homes. Residences range from 2,818 to 3,134 square feet. The gated neighborhood of Rivendell features two floor plans of 2,735 and 4,035 square feet, respectively.
KB Home is offering new product at its Silver Hills neighborhood, which features six floor plans from 1,438 to 2,602 square feet. KB Home will only start construction on a new home once the home is purchased, allowing homebuyers the opportunity to own a brand-new home built to their exact specifications.
"Homebuyers that purchase brand-new homes have the ability to select interiors to meet their needs as homeowners, rather than having to buy a home that will require out-of-pocket funds to customize, repair or both," Stocker said. "Buying a brand-new home that comes with builder warranties also gives homebuyers additional peace of mind."
Mountain's Edge is holding its Discovery Days sales event that features promotions and incentives offered by the new builder partners, as well as other participating builders on new homes available throughout the master-planned community. Event highlights include 5K walks/runs benefiting two nonprofit organizations.
The next event to be held is the Las Vegas Start! Heart Walk Oct. 10. Funds raised by the Heart Walk support heart and stroke research as well as public and professional education programs.
The Heart Walk will feature activities and entertainment, along with a fair. There will be educational pavilions at the park providing information about heart disease, stroke and surviving a heart attack. American Heart Association; Healthier Generation, which provides children's heart information; and Go Red for Women also will provide programs.
The Heart Walk will be held at Exploration Park, an 80-acre park that includes volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, picnic areas and an amphitheatre for concerts and other live performances.
Builders within the master plan include: Amstar Homes, Beazer Homes, Harmony Homes, KB Home, Meritage Homes, Pardee Homes, Phillips Homes, Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes, Ryland and Warmington Homes Nevada.
