New Berkley ad touts clean-energy support

Congresswoman and Democratic Senate hopeful Shelley Berkley is up with a new commercial in Reno (shown below), this one touting her support for renewable energy.

"Nevada has the clean energy to power America. Shelley Berkley is making it happen. She is fighting for new solar, wind and geothermal projects in every corner of our state," the narrator says over visuals of endless sunny skies, solar panel arrays and spinning wind turbines.

What Berkley wants viewers to take out of the 30-second spot: "That means thousands of new jobs for Nevada workers."

This is Berkley's fourth television commercial, each of which has debuted in Reno where the lawmaker is trying to make inroads with an audience not as familiar as her Clark County base.
