New Rory Reid ad features wife, Cindy

A new ad from gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid features Reid's wife, Cindy, highlighting his education plan and describing him as a fighter.

The ad starts with a shot of Cindy Reid in the family's kitchen.

"As a teacher and a mom I know education lays a foundation for Nevada's future," she says.

The ad moves to a shot of the Reid family outdoors followed by Cindy Reid saying, "And that's why my husband, Rory, has a detailed plan to transform our schools and finally make education the priority it should be."

The footage cuts to shots of a laboratory and then Reid in schools while the narrator says, "Rory Reid, a Nevada first approach that gets our economy moving again, the comprehensive plan for education reform, more accountability and a commitment to making Nevada work for our families today."

It closes with Cindy Reid, "Rory knows it won't be easy, but our schools and our state need a fighter again."
