No November Nine repeat; Sam Holden eliminated in 55th place

There will not be a repeat “November Niner” at this year’s final table.

Sam Holden of Great Britain, who finished ninth a year ago in the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Hold'em World Championship, was eliminated in the 2012 event in 55th place, earning $128,384.

He is the last former member of the November Nine — the nickname given to the Main Event final table participants since the format began in 2008 — that was still in competition Sunday night.

Eric Buchman, the other former November Nine member who began play Sunday, busted out in 74th spot, earning $88,070.
