BANKING
Plaza Bank named Michael Vantrease executive vice president and chief administrative officer. He was previously the senior vice president at Bank of the West.
Clark County Credit Union named Sunny Vasquez financial services representative. He will be handling consumer loan counseling, new accounts, extended repair coverage and debt cancellation coverage.
EDUCATION
Nevada State College named Edith Fernandez associate vice president of community engagement and diversity initiatives. Fernandez will work closely with the Southern Nevada community and the institution to support community outreach and diversity initiatives.
The Henderson International School named Aimee Romero to its communications and marketing team.

Geotechnical & Environmental Services Inc. named Armand Rodrigues staff geologist. Rodrigues will perform technical report preparation, geologic logging, soil classification, monitoring well installation, soil and groundwater sampling, and computer assisted and graphic information systems drafting.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corp., named Mahesh Reddy general manager of the Platinum Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas. Reddy previously served as the general manager of the Westin Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, which is also managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Laura J. Thalacker, a shareholder in Lionel Sawyer & Collins’ litigation department, has been appointed to serve as the regional vice chair for North America of the Lex Mundi Global Labor & Employment practice group.
Rainey Devine Attorneys At Law named Courtney Devine associate attorney with the firm’s estate planning practice. Devine graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada named Caroline Ciocca president and CEO. Ciocca joins Make-A-Wish effective Nov. 5 to oversee all operations of the nonprofit organization that serves children with life-threatening illnesses in our community.
Paige Candee, founder of Dress for Success Southern Nevada, will serve as the first president of the local nonprofit’s advisory council, which provides vision, resources and advice to the board of directors on community outreach and fundraising.
