Owners say they hit ‘jackpot’

Beth and Kyle Neal said they felt they had "hit the jackpot" with the purchase of their first home, an upgraded former Pardee Homes model in the Autumn Ridge neighborhood within Aliante, a master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

Their Realtor, Curtis Pilgreen, who, by his count, has represented more than a dozen Pardee buyers in the past three years, also is reaping the benefits of being part of Pardee's Realtor Rewards program that offers incentives based on sales.

Part of the Brian Wedewer Team with the Prudential Americana Group, Pilgreen said his No. 1 goal is to solve problems for families looking for a new home.

"One of the beautiful things about Pardee is that it is easy for a client to see what they will get," Pilgreen said. "Pardee actually puts quality into their homes, choosing upgrades rather than the lowest standards like some other builders today."

He said his experience is that new homes are actually outselling resales by virtue of price and features.

"My clients can see the value in a Pardee home," he said.

The Neal family, which includes 5-year-old Erinn, had a checklist when shopping for a new home after a move from South Carolina where Kyle Neal was stationed before the family relocated to Southern Nevada.

"Curtis guided us through the process," Beth Neal said.

"We found Pardee had more to offer, from the right price to the right room sizes," she said. "Our home was ready for us, complete with an upgraded kitchen and master bath. But one of the best features is the maintenance and service we received after the sale as Pardee home buyers.

"We hit the jackpot," she said.

Pardee is offering other move-in ready homes at new prices throughout the Las Vegas Valley, according to Pardee regional sales director Rob Tuvell.

"Families can choose from several homes in a wide range of prices that are ready for them right now," he said. "In addition to the convenience of immediate move-in, buyers receive the added confidence of owning a Pardee Home that is built on a 57-year legacy of quality, value and service in Southern Nevada."

Priced from the mid-$100,000s, move-in ready homes include popular upgrades and designer selections, plus attractive financing options and federal tax credit for those who qualify, according to Tuvell.

A two-story Plan Two in the gated Trail Ridge neighborhood in southwestern Las Vegas is priced at about $158,400 and includes two bedrooms, 21/2 baths, loft and two-car garage.

In the nearby Mountain's Edge community, Pardee is offering a Rosetta Plan Two that includes three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and two-car garage, priced at $195,400.

Across the valley the Eldorado Highlands neighborhood of Horizon features a five-bedroom, four-bath Plan Four home with three-car garage for $299,025; and neighboring Northpointe has a Plan Three that also offers five bedrooms, four baths and den for $341,150.

One of the West's largest and longest-established home builders, Pardee has built homes and communities for nearly 40,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
