The Nevada Board of Medial Examiners just issued this warning to doctors in Nevada. Translation: Prescribe medical marijuana at your own legal peril.

That is all, dude. Oh, BTW, here’s the message sent to doctors today:

“Given the recent legalization of medical marijuana grow and dispensing facilities, the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners (BME) discussed physician involvement in medical marijuana issues at its June 6, 2014 meeting. Following this discussion, an advisory opinion was issued to licensees yesterday, June 17, 2014, warning physicians that involvement in medical marijuana enterprises is a ‘legal peril’ and any decision to become involved in such enterprises should be done in consultation with ‘their own legal counsel to explore all possible legal and/or criminal implications of such actions and/or relationships.’ “
