July 21, 2012 - 1:03 am
Pardee Homes' LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge neighborhood is a collection of three floor plans that range from 1,852 to 2,432 square feet.
New homes in the neighborhood, off Buffalo and Cactus drives in Mountain's Edge, a master-planned community, are priced from $189,990.
"The energy-efficient designs, impressive standard features, competitive pricing and a desirable Mountain's Edge location are all major selling points for our buyers at LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge," said Pardee regional sales director Rob Tuvell.
The builder's LivingSmart brand is a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, Tuvell said.
Among the standard features at LivingSmart Homes Mountain's Edge are slab-granite kitchen countertops, birch kitchen cabinets with extended-height upper cabinets, stainless steel kitchen sink and appliances, recycling center in kitchen, two-tone interior paint and radiant barrier.
Plan One measures 1,852 square feet and has four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage. The home design can be built with an optional loft that increases the square footage to 2,161.
Plan Two measures about 2,250 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, loft and two-car garage.
The neighborhood's Plan Three measures 2,432 square feet with four bedrooms, 2½ baths, loft and a two-car garage. It can be built with an optional retreat or office instead of the fourth bedroom.
Through two new programs, Pardee is helping many home shoppers overcome obstacles in buying a new residence.
In an offer exclusively for Pardee homebuyers in this market, Smart Move Advantage, an independent company, will rent a qualified buyer's existing home for as many as three years, Tuvell said.
"The Smart Move Advantage program represents one of several steps Pardee Homes has taken to boost buyer confidence and smooth the path to new-home ownership," Tuvell said.
Through Pardee's own Homeward Bound program, prospective buyers receive expert assistance on credit issues that can affect home loan availability.
Sales office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at all Pardee neighborhoods in Southern Nevada.
