Pardee ranks high in national survey
The Southern Nevada Division of Pardee Homes has received the highest scores for excellence in customer service and design selection from homebuyers surveyed by a national consumer research company focusing on customer satisfaction, according to Division President Klif Andrews.
"Customer satisfaction is Pardee's top priority," Andrews said. "As a result, our team continues to be recognized for exceeding the expectations of our homebuyers."
Eliant, a consumer research company catering exclusively to the new-home industry, surveyed 68,000 new homeowners from more than 170 major homebuilders across the United States and Canada for the 2012 Homebuyers' Choice Awards.
Pardee Homes in Las Vegas achieved first place in the customer service experience and design selection experience in the large builder category; and received honorable mention in construction experience and overall first-year quality.
"Pardee Homes has once again confirmed its reputation as one of America's top homebuilders, with seven premier awards plus four honorable mentions being captured by its divisions in Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire," Eliant founder and CEO Bob Mirman said.
Two of the Las Vegas families included in the survey agreed that Pardee exceeded their expectations of home buying and home ownership.
They said one reason for this is the quick response they get from Pardee customer service representative Jim Rampa when they have questions about their new home.
"Pardee's customer service is awesome," said Geren Taylor, who lives in a new Rosetta home with his wife, Crystal, and sons Noah and Braeden in Mountain's Edge, a master-planned community in the southwest valley.
"I'm not a handyman, and thank goodness Jim is really fast to respond."
Crystal Taylor said, "Nothing is too little for him to take care of for us. This is our first new home and it gives us peace of mind to know that we have Jim for direction and guidance."
Crystal Taylor said her twin sister recommended Pardee after buying a Pardee home in North Las Vegas.
"Pardee is the best," agreed Monique Campas, who lives next door to the Taylor family with her husband, Ivan, and son Kobe. "From the moment we walked into the sales office, everyone was looking out for what we wanted. They were not just trying to sell us a home."
"Jim is always ready to help. It's easy to see he cares about us," Ivan Campas said.
"I want to do whatever it takes to make them happy with their new homes," Rampa said.
Laura Henderson, customer service director for Pardee in Las Vegas, said Rampa is an example of her team's mission to "provide caring, proactive customer service to Pardee buyers through building and maintaining trusting relationships."
"Our customer service department takes great pride in being ranked highest in customer service for two consecutive years by J.D. Power and Associates, in addition to earning several top Eliant scores in the past several years," Henderson said.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary in the Las Vegas Valley this year, the homebuilder has built homes and communities for more than 40,000 families in the area.
The builder is opening four new neighborhoods in the first quarter of this year, including its LivingSmart neighborhoods in Mountain's Edge, Providence, Eldorado, and Durango Ranch off Durango and Pebble roads.
Other Pardee neighborhoods and communities include Montclaire in Green Valley Ranch, Riverstone in Prescott Park, Trail Ridge at Blue Diamond and Durango, Solstice in Aliante, Solamar in Vista Verde and Serrano in Mountain's Edge.
