Pardee slated to debut EnergySmart homes

Pardee Homes is gearing up for the June 21-22 grand opening of Horizon, the latest addition to its Eldorado Highlands master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

Horizon will debut as a Pardee EnergySmart neighborhood.

"Pardee Homes proudly presents Horizon as an EnergySmart neighborhood, which means that these homes are enhanced with money-saving and energy-efficient features," Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell said.

"Spectrally selective glass will keep the homes cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Plus, we've included ceiling insulation and sealed ducts for improved air quality."

Horizon features one- and two-story homes with up to five bedrooms and four baths in four floor plans that range from 2,027 to 3,010 square feet, with home sites that average about 6,000 square feet.

Exteriors feature Spanish Colonial, Andalusian and Italian designs and prices start from the high $200,000s.

"Pardee's legacy is deeply rooted in Eldorado, where we've been building homes and communities for more than 20 years," Tuvell said.

"We're excited to introduce Horizon, with its terrific location and smart pricing for today's market. These homes offer appealing features like a den, handy workshop, studio or loft, along with attractions that make them easy to personalize."

The Eldorado community includes a fire station; an elementary school named in honor of the late Pardee executive, Lee Antonello; an adjacent Eldorado Park; and the 23-acre Seastrand Park. Both parks were donated by Pardee to the city of North Las Vegas.

Eldorado has grown into a mature community, according to Tuvell.

It is located close to major shopping centers with grocery stores, restaurants, postal services, dentistry and animal care, in addition to other services.

To visit the Horizon neighborhood from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit south on Aliante Parkway then turn left onto Deer Springs Way. Take Deer Springs east to Gentle Brook Street and turn right.

The sales office and models are located just ahead and are open 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it opens at 11 a.m.
