Pardee to open LivingSmart Mountain’s Edge homes Jan. 28
Pardee Homes is gearing up for four grand openings in the first four months of 2012, including three new LivingSmart neighborhoods in Southern Nevada.
The first to open is Pardee's new LivingSmart Mountain's Edge in the southwest valley. The builder will hold a grand opening event for the new neighborhood Jan. 28.
A collection of three floor plans that range in size from 1,852 to 2,432 square feet, LivingSmart Mountain's Edge is located adjacent to the builder's Serrano and Rosetta neighborhoods off Buffalo and Cactus drives in Mountain's Edge.
Pardee Homes' LivingSmart brand is a program with standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, according to the company's Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell.
LivingSmart Providence in the northwest valley is scheduled to open in early March, while LivingSmart Eldorado Ridge in North Las Vegas is scheduled to open in April.
Additionally, Pardee will introduce Durango Ranch, which is located in the southwest valley, in February, according to Tuvell.
Located in a rural neighborhood preservation area near Pebble and Cimarron roads, Durango Ranch will feature new, single-story designs that include separate casitas and about 3,000 to 4,000 square feet of living space with as many as five bedrooms, 3½ baths and four-car garages.
LivingSmart Mountain's Edge Plan One measures 1,852 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, den and two-car garage. The home can be built with an optional dining room, master-bedroom retreat or fourth bedroom in lieu of the den.
LivingSmart Mountain's Edge Plan Two measures 2,250 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths and two-car garage. The home has an optional workshop or three-car garage.
LivingSmart Mountain's Edge Plan Three measures 2,432 square feet with as many as five bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage.
The company started building greener when it helped pioneer the Environmental Energy Protection's Energy Star homes in Southern Nevada in 1998. Today, Tuvell said, that commitment has grown to become Pardee's far more comprehensive -- and award-winning -- LivingSmart program, which provides more than 30 Earth-friendly standard and optional systems and features.
