Pastries are not to be passed up at Las Vegas’ first Kneaders

Welcome to carb heaven, also known as Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, where the freshly baked breads and pastries are plentiful.

The Utah-based company opened its first Nevada restaurant in Henderson at 11271 S. Eastern Ave. in April.

Known for artisan breads and assorted goodies, it offers a variety of standards: French country sourdough ($4.99); ciabatta ($3.99); rustic rye ($4.99); and baguette ($2.99). The restaurant also produces some signature items such as the chunky cinnamon bread ($4.39) and raisin walnut bread ($3.99).

Each day, the chefs also prepare a selection of pastries such as cream cheese brownies ($1.79 each), cinnamon rolls ($2.59 each) and fruit tarts ($2.59 each).

Kneaders also uses its freshly baked breads and croissants to offer a variety of lunch and breakfast sandwiches. Guests can enjoy items such as the turkey bacon avocado on the homemade focaccia ($7.99), the club on its French country sourdough ($7) or French dip on a baguette ($6.59).

Need something a little lighter? There are soup and salad options, including the turkey feta or chicken Caesar (both $3.99).But guests can also choose to have their items inside a sourdough bread bowl ($4.99).

One of the menu’s fan-favorite items comes off the breakfast menu — chunky cinnamon French toast ($5.59).

Kneaders is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Visit order.kneaders.com/menu/kneaders-henderson or call 702-831-5910.
