Paula Abdul, The Slot Yanker In Vegas

Paula Abdul doesn’t drink. She doesn’t smoke. She’s lived her life like that, she has said for years. So while here in Vegas, I asked her, well, then, what does she do for fun? She likes the slots, she said.

“One time, I got $10,000 on a slot machine,” she said.

“Get out!” I said.

“Get out — I did. Cashed out and went shopping.”

That is a very short blog item, indeed, but it was the only real question I could ask her before she whisked off into the night.
