Pesaro popular for its single-story homes

Rhodes Homes has created an Old-World, Tuscany feel at its Tuscany Residential Village in Henderson. The community is just minutes from Lake Mead and shopping and dining centers.

Dozens of new home options are available in Tuscany. Among them is Pesaro, which offers three single-story floor plans, all with oversized garages. According to sales agent Jimmy Crosswhite, the combination of a single-story home and oversized garage have made the models a hit among residents.

"Those two elements are the most sought-after in average-sized new homes now," Crosswhite said. "They extend the usefulness of the home to those who can't climb stairs and the extra garage space often eliminates the need for off-site storage. With a 21/2 or three-car garage, you have room to store athletic equipment, holiday decorations and your vehicles, all in the comfort of home."

Crosswhite said Pesaro's largest floor plan, Residence 2700, has proven most popular among new homebuyers. Named for its size, Residence 2700 includes four bedrooms, two baths, powder room, den, dining room and 21/2 tandem garage.

With Residence 2700, residents can opt for fifth and sixth bedrooms and an additional bath. The formal dining room also can be converted to a den, and a patio can be constructed off either the great room or master bedroom..

Joining Residence 2700 at Pesaro are two other floor plans. Residence 2379 includes three bedrooms, large walk-in closets, breakfast nook, two baths, powder room, great room, 21/2-car garage and kitchen island. Residents can convert the additional garage space into a den or use it for a variety of storage needs.

Residence 2683 features three bedrooms, three baths, a three-car split garage, great room, kitchen island, large second bedroom with walk-in closet, and master suite with walk-in closet and retreat, which can be converted to an optional fourth bedroom.

Home prices at Pesaro start in the low $300,000s. Tuscany's new central sales center is located in the 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana.

To visit the models, take Lake Mead Drive across Boulder Highway to Mohawk Drive and turn left. Follow the signs to the sales center. Office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
