PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Kristen Byers of Las Vegas shared this photo of her pets. “Stella was my new kitten. Rozee is our 10-year-old boxer who never became a mother. She was very happy to protect her. So cute. Three months later, they still love each other.”

“Here’s our bearded collie, Bentley, “ wrote Beth and Joe Barstner of Summerlin. "He loves digging through his toy basket for just the right toy; he has his favorites. He’s a good little picture-poser, too. Treats always follow. He is the best little snuggler. As you can tell, we are crazy about him.”

Sammy questions the motives of his owner, John C. Szarko of Las Vegas, “I can’t believe my eyes. Does he really think I’m getting fat?”

“This is Callie. She is 12 going on 13,” wrote Carole Ralston of Las Vegas. “We got her when she was 6 months old from the Lied Animal Shelter. She has brought nothing by love and joy to our lives. Even though she is getting to be an older lady, she can still drive you nuts with her crazy antics."
