PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Stella Rosich of Henderson sent this photo of her dog, Cotton. "He knows how to communicate with me. He even sits and says 'Please' by his sound. He is my companion and true friend that I can count on. He takes good care of me and is by my side always. He is so smart that he sits by the fridge and asks for carrots, potatoes and celery and even lettuce," she said.

Faye Dubler of Las Vegas shared this photo of her dog, Pixie. "You light up my life, 'yip' up my house and fill up my pocketbook!" she wrote.

Mike and Deb Larsson of Las Vegas shared photos of their pug, Sammy, in her Christmas dress. "I think she is saying, 'Gosh, I hope this one fits next year!' She is our pride and joy and gets along well with our two cats, Cheeba and Jack."

"This is Snoogy, a delightful cat!" said Helen Maynard of Las Vegas.

"These are our two beautiful Saint Bernards, Sunshine and Skye. The two loves of our lives," said Joey and Randy Preston of Las Vegas.
